Versailles Board Game
The palace and gardens of Versailles, finalized under the rule of Louis XIV of France, are an architectural marvel of the world. In Versailles, players take the roles of architects and interior designers, working together to build and decorate the ensemble of Versailles, competing for the favor of the King.
Players take turns moving one worker from a building site to an adjacent one, activating all the workers in the new location. Alternatively you can expend the use of a double move give you a greater choice of tile to activate, or to move two workers to the same tile and increase it's effect. Despite simple rules, players develop complex strategies, gathering resources, building the puzzle-like palace, designing impressive decorations and learning new skills, all while waiting for the arrival of his Majesty.
Once Versailes is completed, or if the King arrives, the game ends. Players score victory points based on the parts of the castles they have built or furnished, as well as for any resources they have remaining. Whoever scores the most gains the favour of the King and wins the game!
